Payment
We will give you details how you can do payment for custom cakes.
For non custom cakes, you can make it through the Web shop. If you encounter any issues, feel free to reach out to us.
Cards for Special Occasions
If you would like a card, we are collaborating with a local artist in Wageningen, IG artby_marina. She has designed several lovely cards for special occasions.
Transporting
We will provide the cake box(es). If you plan to come by bike or on foot, please bring a large grocery bag. Unfortunately, we do not provide bags for carrying the box. If you are arriving by car, place the cake box in the area where you put your feet or on your lap—avoid putting it on the seat, as it may not be level and could damage your cake.
Storing and Serving
1. Butter-Based Frosting Cakes:
- If you plan to enjoy your buttercream cake on the same day within 3 hours of picking it up, you can store it at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and heat.
- Otherwise, place the cake in the fridge initially, and take it out about an hour before serving. Cakes often taste better at room temperature.
2. Cakes with Fondant Decorations:
- If your cake has fondant decorations, please remove them before serving. While the fondant itself is edible, some decorations may contain toothpicks. Be cautious when giving these to children.1
3. Whipped Cream (Slagroom) Based Cakes (e.g., Swiss Roll) and Cheesecake:
- Refrigerate these cakes and serve them chilled.
4. Leftover Sweets:
- Store any leftover sweets in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
